Por motivos alheios e desconhecidos da banda o concerto agendado para a próxima 6ª feira dia 18 no Lótus Bar foi cancelado.

Os Fullmoonchild no Lótus Bar em Cascais dia 18 Abril 2008 pelas 23h com a entrada a custar 5 eur.

O concerto contará com as seguintes bandas, por ordem de actuação:

Será a estreia oficial do Zigga como voz, esperamos que seja mais uma grande noite FMC!!!

Os Fullmoonchild vão estar ao vivo no próximo dia 23 de Abril no Bar Rock in Chiado juntamente com os Repulsive Strife, Dark Side of Innocence (com quem já partilharam o palco em Setembro no Seixal) e os Primal Decay.
O concerto está marcado para as 22h.

Dia 26 será a vez de subirem aos palcos do Ilusões Bar, em Caxias (junto à estação da CP). Falta definir ainda as outras bandas que vão tocar também nessa noite.
Mais detalhes serão dados quando a banda estiver a par.

Fullmoonchild will be at Bar Rock in Chiado next April 23th with Repulsive Strife, Dark Side of Innocence (with whom they shared the stage once, at Seixal, last September) and Primal Decay.
The gig will begin at 22h.

April 26th Fullmoonchild will be playing in Ilusões Bar, Caxias (near CP train station ). The other bands are not defined yet.

Alteração de formação - Lineup change

Por motivos pessoais, o vocalista Rui Mourão não faz mais parte da banda.

Os Fullmoonchild irão agora prosseguir com 5 elementos, sendo as vozes asseguradas pelo baixista Zigga, que irá acumular as duas funções.

Ao Rui Mourão desejamos o melhor na sua vida pessoal e profissional.

Um concerto no início da noite com os Fullmoonchild no cartaz como primeira banda a tocar, num cartaz onde os WAKO eram a grande atracção e os Repulsive Strife a banda revelação, tendo pelo meio os New Mecanica, com o seu som mais "mecânico".

O espaço da SFAL é muito bom para este tipo de eventos, com muito boas condições e o sistema de som era simplesmente poderoso, mas ao mesmo tempo adequado ao recinto. Também os técnicos sabiam o que faziam e isso ajudou a que tudo corresse dentro dos horários estabelecidos.

Com o aproximar da hora marcada para o concerto, ainda o vocalista Rui Mourão estava a caminho do Lavradio (por motivos pessoais não pode estar presente mais cedo), a organização comunicou-nos que teríamos de começar a tocar o mais depressa possível, sobre pena de não actuarmos de todo. Após uma conversa com o responsável e tentativas de adiar um pouco mais o início do espectáculo, decidimos iniciar o concerto sem o vocalista Rui Mourão, sendo as vozes asseguradas pelo baixista Zigga, esperando que o Rui chegasse durante a actuação.

Nunca tendo cantado em público, a responsabilidade e os nervos eram muitos, mas o Zigga esteve à altura do desafio, contando com o apoio dos restantes elementos.
A actuação correu muito bem, sem grandes percalços, com alguns erros compreensíveis mas foi mais uma noite FullMoonChild!

A concert at the beggining of the night with Fullmoonchild as the first band on stage, with a lineup where WAKO were the biggest attraction and Repulsive Strife the upcoming band, with New Mecanica in the between, with their more "mechanical" sound.
The venue at SFAL is very good for this type of events, with good conditions and a very powerfull, yet appropriated sound system. The sound technician also knew what they were doing and that helped to all going on as scheduled.

As the time for the beggining of the concert was getting closer, our singer Rui Mourão was still on his way to Lavradio (due to personal reasons it wasn't possible for him to be there earlier), the event organization told us we had to begin playing as soon as possible or not play at all.
After talking with the responsible and attempting to delay the gig just a bit more, we decided to go through and begin the gig without our lead singer Rui Mourão, asking Zigga to fulfill the empty space, (accumulating voice and bass) hoping that Rui would arrive during our performance.

Zigga never sang before a live audience, the responsability and nerves were too many, but Zigga was at his best, fitting the role very well and had the support of the remaining members. The gig went without any major problems and we had another great FullMoonChild night!

Já com o line-up completo os Fullmoonchild estão agora em fase de ensaios.

Com os novos elementos do agrupamento a entrosarem-se na/com a musicalidade característica da banda os ensaios decorrem já na sua total normalidade.

Reencontrado o equílibrio a banda está numa fase de exploração de novos "caminhos" aproveitando não só a entrada de novos elementos (que trazem as suas ideias e influências) como também da adição de mais uma guitarra, permitindo, além de uma surpreendente alternância entre a guitarra solo e a guitarra ritmo, a libertação do teclado, permitindo ao Miguel "Silêncio" uma maior mobilidade sonora e quem sabe a intensificação de ambientes.

Fullmoonchild´s line-up is complete and the band is now in the rehearsals fase.

With the new elements having a good adaptation with/in the characteristical musicality of the band, the rehearsals are back to the complete normality that the band was used to.

After finding the balance, the band begins to explore new paths taking advantage not only of the entrance of the new elements (that bring their new ideas and influences) but also of the addition of a second guitar, which allows, besides the amazing switching between the "solo" guitar and the "rhythm" guitar, the freedom to the keyboards, allowing Miguel "Silêncio" to explore new sounds and, who knows, the intensification of the ambience.

FullMoonChild - Line-up

Uma vez que a banda sofreu uma profunda reestruturação, achamos por bem fazer um perfil de cada elemento da banda actualmente, seja dos elementos novos ou dos que já pertenciam a FMC.
Nos próximos dias, serão dados a conhecer alguns pormenores de cada elemento, por ordem cronológica.

After deep changes in our line-up and now that it is complete, we decided to present you with some details about the actual members.
In the next few days, we will be posting some "profiles" of the band members, so you can get to know better FMC new 2007 line up.

BIO

FullMoonChild é uma banda de Sintra, que existe desde 1996, ano em que Pedro “Winter” Rodrigues se juntou a uns amigos para formar uma banda de Metal. Após algumas (muitas) alterações de elementos e de variações de estilo musical praticado pela banda, em 1999 o baterista Rui ”ThunderDrum” Nunes entrou para a banda, respondendo a um anúncio publicado no Blitz.
Os problemas de estabilidade com os diversos membros continuaram, tendo por base estes dois elementos e somente em 2003 o baixista Ricardo “Zigga” Brás entrou para a formação, trazendo novas ideias, tanto em termos musicais como líricos. Após um ano de “power trio” e com problemas em encontrar um segundo guitarrista, foi durante as gravações da demo de 2004 “The End of the World” que Miguel “Silencio” Silva, que já era presença assídua nos ensaios da banda, se juntou à mesma e foram os seus sons de teclados, que acrescentaram ao som da banda a componente mais melancólica e melódica que ela necessitava.
Apenas um mês decorreu até que começassem a ter alguns convites para tocar ao vivo e assim começaram as apresentações ao vivo dos FullMoonChild. Ao tocar com dezenas de bandas e em variadíssimos palcos e ambientes, o nome da banda tornou-se mais conhecido e no início de 2005 assinam um contrato discográfico com a IconDiscos para a gravação de um EP.
“Nothing Lasts Forever...” é o nome do EP com 5 músicas, um videoclip e uma entrevista, foi editado em 2006, tem recebido críticas bastante boas e está disponível por encomenda no website da banda.
Durante a fase de promoção do EP, o vocalista/guitarrista Pedro “Winter” decide abandonar o projecto que criou, devido a incompatibilidades musicais/pessoais com os restantes elementos.

Uma nova etapa começou e em poucos meses os restantes membros encontraram novos elementos que se juntaram à formação: Marco Beltrão e Bruno Santos como guitarristas e Rui Mourão (ex-Dramafall) para as vocalizações.

2007 pode mesmo vir a ser o ano da confirmação da banda como uma boa aposta da musica de peso nacional.

BIO

FullMoonChild is a Portuguese band from Sintra, it was formed back in 1996 by Pedro “Winter” Rodrigues, that together with some friends decided to form a Metal band. After some (many) changes on the band members and musical style, in 1999, the drummer, Rui “ThunderDrum” Nunes joins the band.
The problems with the line-up kept the band away from a stable formation, but in 2003 the bass player Ricardo “Zigga” Brás came to add some new ideas, in terms of composition. After a year of a “power trio” and with problems in finding a second guitar player, it was during the recording session for the 2004 demo CD “The End of the World” that Miguel “Silencio” Silva joined the FMC family. His keyboards added to the band’s sound the melancholy and melody the band needed.
Just a month later, they started to have some invitations to play live and that was the beginning of FullMoonChild’s stage performances. Playing with several bands and in many stages and ambiences, the band’s name got well known and on the first days of 2005 they signed a record deal with IconDiscos.
“Nothing Lasts Forever...” it’s the name of the 5 songs EP, published in 2006, that has received many good reviews and it’s available to order from the band’s website.
During the promotion of the EP, the vocals/guitar Pedro “Winter” decided to abandon the project he began, due to personal/musical incompatibilities with the remaining members.

A new journey has begun, and in just a few months, the remaining members found new elements that joined the band: Marco Beltrão and Bruno Santos as guitar players and Rui Mourão (ex-Dramafall) as vocals.

2007 can be the band’s year in establishing them as a good bet on the Portuguese musical scene.
